Samantha Detoni is a 26-year-old art therapist and illustrator whose passion for storytelling shines through her vibrant and whimsical artwork. After achieving her Bachelor of Fine Arts at Northern Illinois University, Samantha earned a Master of Arts in Counseling with a focus in Art Therapy, from Adler University. Samantha is currently employed as an expressive arts group therapist and is seeking her licensure!
Originally from South Elgin, Illinois, Samantha has always been inspired by her childhood relics: cute characters, Nintendo games, and the enchanting worlds of Studio Ghibli films.
Infusing her illustrations with nostalgia and charm, Samantha loves incorporating her favorite color- pink- into her works, allowing audiences to reconnect with the innocence of childhood.
Aside from creating illustrations, Samantha enjoys going out with her fiancé and friends, playing cozy video games, needle-felting, junk journaling, cooking, and trying as many new foods as possible!
